Wanderlust: A Top Five

I love traveling and have been lucky enough to be able to travel quite a bit in my life. However since moving to Alberta and finally settling down, our journey to explore the world has slowed down a little. Life gets in the way. We both work. We bought a house. Had a baby. But my husband and I are absolutely determined to make traveling a big part of our - and our son's - life. In the spirit of wanderlust, here are the top five countries I would want to visit right now.

1. Japan. I have been to Japan twice already, and yet this intoxicating country is still number one on my list. I would go back in a heartbeat.
2. Vietnam. Because it is a huge part of my family history.
3. Australia. So close yet so far away.
4. Botswana. It's been on my list for a long time. We even considered it for our honeymoon before settling on Thailand.
5. Scotland. Because believe it or not, I have never been.

Where would you go if you could leave tomorrow?

  1. Botswana has been on my list for what feels like forever as well! And it looks like travel plans + that continent will be coming true sooner than I thought.
    Your heart will adore Scotland.
PS - you should consider submitting a piece to Coffee & Crumbs. just sayin' :)
