Let's make this week drugstore week! I have been meaning to share my little secret for a long time and I finally snapped a few pictures for this article.
I love contouring and highlighting. I have been doing it since long before it became popular and will continue doing it when it is replaced by strobing and color-correcting.
I have tried many, many contouring powders, mostly high end. Anastasia Beverly Hills, Kat Von D, Smashbox, you name it, chances are I've tried it.
However, I keep coming back to this little guy. You see I am fair-skinned with a neutral undertone, and I have the hardest time finding something that is not too orange, not too purple, a cool brown taupe with just the right amount of gray. And NYX High Definition Blush in Taupe is just that.
It is affordable, pigmented, easy to blend, the texture is buttery soft and the packaging is sleek and cute. I also love the fact that it is a standalone product I don't have to bring a huge 6 pan palette with me when I travel. Am I the only one who always ends up using only one shade out of the 6?
For less than $10, this is the perfect contour powder.
If you're in Canada, you can now find NYX Cosmetics at Shoppers DrugMart! In Alberta, you can also buy NYX Cosmetics at Save On Foods and London Drugs.
