It's not secret that I love Benefit cosmetics. They are without a doubt one of my all-time favourite beauty brands and they keep coming out with awesome products - not to mention their always-adorable packaging. They just released a new blush and bronzer palette that has me giddy with excitement.
The Cheek Parade "The Beauty and the Beat" blush kit contains 5 full size blush pans - yes, you read that right, full size. 3 blushes: the brand new Galifornia, and the classic Rockateur and Dandelion; and 2 bronzers: the cult Hoola and its newest little brother, Hoola Lite.
This palette retails for $78 here in Canada, so let's do the math. 1 single boxed blush or bronzer is $38. Multiply that by 5. That's a $190 value people! ($145 for my American readers). It doesn't get much better than that! The palette has everything you need: a huge mirror, a blush for every occasion and season, a Winter and a Summer bronzer, as well as a convenient little brush. Did I mention the blushes smell amazing, too?
Hoola is a warm, 100% matte bronzer that needs no introduction. It is a dream to blend but can be a little dark for fair skin tones, especially in the colder months.
Galifornia is the brand's newest blush. It is a fun and bright pinky coral with a very subtle hint of gold shimmer. It is not as easy to blend as Benefit's other blushes so be sure to use a light hand.

Rockateur is a little miracle. It is a nude pink with a hint of light reflecting shimmer that makes any skin tone glow with the most gorgeous natural flush.

Hoola Lite was released recently, and fair-skinned makeup addicts all over the world breathed a sigh of relief. It is a much more pale version of the regular version and will warm up the fairer complexions. It is just as easy to blend as its big brother, but be careful with those warm undertones, they can still make you look a bit orangey.

Dandelion is a pale matte pink blush that goes with any makeup look and is extremely flattering on fair skin tones. I wear it very often and love the muted, pretty doll face flush it gives me.
The palette retails for $78 CAD ($58 USD for my American friends) and is available at Sephora right now.
