The Quick Review: Clarins Lip Comfort Oils

Dried-lipped beauty lovers, rejoice! Cult French beauty & skincare brand Clarins just came out with four new Lip Oil shades for the summer.

The Lip Comfort Oil is the perfect hybrid between a lip care oil, hydrating and moisturizing, and a lip gloss, shiny and glossy.

The idea is to make your lips look and feel their best, by enhancing their natural beauty.

Candy is a pretty raspberry and cherry scented pink gloss. It is formulated with an intelligent pigment that adapts to your natural lip color to create the perfect, natural, bitten lips pink.

Tangerine is a vitamin-charged red currant scented gloss, formulated with an intelligent pigment to create a beautiful coral shade.

Honey Glam was inspired by - you guessed it - honey. Its nourishing formula is transparent but contains multi-faceted gold shimmer to enhance the lips.

Mint is a pretty turquoise shade that comes off transparent on the lips but is formulated with menthol for its refreshing effect and lip-plumping properties.

They all smell amazing and are extremely comfortable on the lips. The intelligent pigment really does create a personalized color and I absolutely love it.
I love how cute they look and the fact that the formula is not overly sticky.

They can be a bit goopy so be careful when applying.
I am not a fan of the shimmer of the honey shade. It tends to linger on way after the gloss is gone, leaving you with leftover glitter on the lips.

Overall, these have become my go-to summer lip products. They are the perfect 2 in 1 product, and give off a fresh, natural, glossy flush of color that isn't too heavy or made-up for warmer days.
They retail for $25 CAD and $26 USD each.

* I received these products for review purposes. All opinions are my own.
