You may remember Maui Moisture from this post and my love for it hasn't changed. Since it's pretty much all I've been using for the past six months, I figured I'd do another quick review.
I've had the opportunity to test the Coconut Milk as well as the Agave lines, and I love them both.
The Coconut Milk line is my favorite for year round hair care and the scent is to die for. It reminds me so much of Hawaii! It is moisturizing but not heavy, aside from the mist which can be a little oily if you apply too much. A couple of spritzes are enough, and I suggest brushing it in well to avoid build-up on your ends (yes, it can happen and it makes your hair look wet).
The Agave line was a life saver after my trip to Hawaii this summer. Not only did it remind me of Hawaii with its amazing scent (it contains agave, hibiscus and pineapple!), but it also helped repair my hair and condition it back into shape after two weeks of frying it in the pool, ocean and sun every day. The mask is a great addition and I use it weekly (or bi-weekly if I'm lazy) for a deeper repairing treatment. This line is great for people with color-treated or bleached hair like mine. It is gentle enough but my hair still feels clean and I can easily go 3-4 days between shampoos (with dry shampoo on the 3rd and 4th days - let's be real).
I've mentioned it before, but I also love the fact that the line is available in drugstores, 100% vegan, sulfate-free and cruelty-free.
Have you tried Maui Moisture?
